Screen Resolution

I need to know what screen resolution people generally use. The site more or less works now in 800 x 600 or better (and has been for the past 5 or so years)but I may want / need to push it to a higher resolution, at least 1024 wide to take advantage of newer technologies and stuff...

So I'm looking for what people use for display resolutions on their computers.

For those of you that have never changed your monitor settings - (PC) Right Click on desktop -> Properties ->Settings ->Screen Resolution... It boils down to how much you can fit on your screen and how I develop the site to look on your screen... Right now I'm strectching 2068x768 across two old flat screens

For Macs - you probably know how to

1400 x 1050 on laptop - native resolution on the lcd and it looks the best. Adjusting some of the 'appearance' properties (icons, spacing, etc.) makes it very easy to see everything.

1280 x 1024 on desktops all with small text.

Hehehehe, uhhh, no. Funny thing is you never know who is really watching the sitem right? Well, my mom mentions the other day that she can't even get to the site as her work had filtered it out as PORN. So after a little flack there, and pulling the hottie thread - wala, S-B was no longer classified as porn....

Sorry folks, can't jeapordize the site with a porn label - hope you all understand....

Thanks!

John, the reason it was classified as a porn site was "probably" the photos that had a link to those sites. Those linked images could have been copied and attached as a photo instead of a link.
