So....The Bruins Have This New Box.......
I don't know if any of you have seen this but the Bruins have taken a box between the benches (it used to be a photographers box) and turned it into a high priced kind of special box for spectators! For $5,000.00 a person and their party of 12 get picked up in a limo, get dinner and each person gets to watch one period (4 in the box at a time) the others get to use seats behind the box when not in it......my beef is that on the news they said that due to the high price of the box, should it not be sold for a game the box will be "GIVEN" to celebrities!!!!!!  Now does that sound right????? Why not give it to someone who might otherwise not have a chance to sit in such a box, say a charity situation????? Oh no...give it to the people who already have tons of dough and now they get a free box at a Bruins game to boot???? I guess money gets money as they say!!! 
PS- They should call it the torture chamber....you could not give me the box for free to watch these Bruins!!!  |

Who the hell would want to sit there anyways...Bruins=Sucks...Jacobs just keeps on taking the fans money..Its time the fans and the Celebrities started staying away...I agree with BF..If they are trying to get fans to come back that would be one way how to do it...I think the Bruins and hockey overall has lost me... |

What Bigfish said is right on the money. Why is that celebutantes are always given the excess. Take the Oscars and Emmys for example. All these manufacturers give gift packages to the richest people in the country so they wear thier products. Cashmere sweaters, rolex's, and stuff. Sometimes these packages are worth $50,000.00. Then they think that the reguar people are going to go out and buy some of that stuff because Paris (I'm a s%$t) Hilton has it on. At its best the bruins $5000.00 box is insulting, at its worst, well I can't use in print these socially unacceptable words without severe Clammerlike editing so why use them at all. Who can get 12 people ytogether that can afford $450.00 to $500.00 for a limo and a hockey game. Besides who the hell is the celebrity in the Boston area that anyone would emulate sitting there, J Geils probably.
