GREAT! Now i will have to put line on more plastic japanese junk and have the customers complain about the cost of line. . Please if you're going to bring your new "sweet deal" into a shop don't complain about the cost of us putting line on it for ya.

That's cool - when my wholesaler runs out of Storm Swim Shads - I'll have another source.

Does Bass Pro shops carry habs? or tattoo? or any of the other awesome striper lures out there? I think not. but please don't get any ideas Habs.

And Joe, funny you say that, in high school when I worked at star market, then ran out of hot dog buns on 4th of July weekend and had me go down the road to Stop and Shop and buy every damn hot dog bun on the shelf!
hardball....

Bought my two St. Croix rods at Bass Pro in MD. The good aspect about about the store was their selection range. I picked up and evaluated 15 or so surfcasting rods before deciding I wanted to go with St. Croix.

Bass Pro may cater to the lures and techniques of the given area. In MD they carried few bass plugs but concentrated on jigs and gear for trolling up stripers in the Chesapeake. I could see them carrying plugs of intrest for this region.

Will you get the service and friendly advice like Mike would give you? Can you meet you buddies just milling around "the shop"? The only thing I buy from BP or Cabelas is sweet water stuff that the normal shop doesn't carry.
