He'll be back soon enough

he is buried with work this time of year and has little time to browse the board.

we all miss him, and thankfully Raven has taken up some of weewee's slack

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Yeh - he got a life. And in response to one of his less than family friendly posts, I put him in "Time Out" for a few hours but forgot to let him out for 3 weeks .. Not sure how much that had to do with it .

It was half joking (he was still a bad boy ) but I intentionally only locked out ONE of his multiple personalities

hey ya know what..?

i've wanted to mention this for awhile now....

and this as good a thread as any to say it in....

but because i like to play with art so much...
and like to take a members picture say
and make him an astronaut or something for laughs
and i always keep it clean....

i've noticed that on google or the internet in general
as i have scoured it for fisherman's pictures..ok

that as a whole group we are only shown to be these people
holding up a freakin fish and there are few to none of
the old...you know...norman rockwell -- bunch of old timers
sitting on the front porch of the old tackle shop swapping fish stories
about the one that got away....
even though thats what this message board is all about.... "GRAPHICALLY "
....you rarely see

a gathering of people that are fisherman in some other activity
like just an example....if we had a pictures of people in the BIGFISH
plug shack ..some playing checkers on the wooden barrel.....
one guy turning a plug ...... another looking in an on the water magazine...
in other words..engaged in a fishing related activity other than....
here's what i caught today... boring standard pose.

i think that's wrong.... it sends out the wrong message.
it doesnt serve to illustrate the comrodery we as fisherman
have... in a small group of fishing buddies and\or how the sport unites us...
in the pursuit of fishing for that elusive 50lb trophy.

keep that in mind... when you decide not to post a fisherman
gathering picture where no fish are being displayed in the photo.
