Quaker Lane

Took the family down to Newport today (real motive S\\'E). Stopped by Q-Lane (another hidden motive). Sign out front says that they are targeting 4/1/06 to be open. Door was open and a couple of guys were working inside. Didn't want to bother them. Hope all is well with the owner and employees.

We are trying to save whatever is salvagable from inside, I will tell you that there are going to be some AWESOME Deals at the Rissa saltwater fishing show in march ! You will get perfect condition gibbs etc...Minus the pakage, for very cheap money! This is one fire sale you will not want to miss! There are hundreds of plugs etc..that made it!

The plans are for a brand new shop up in mid summer, twice as big and with twice as much stuff!! They may put up a small trailer to sell some things in spring.......

Great news. Sorry I didn't say Hi. Tried to keep a low profile out of respect for the situation. Nice to almost meet you.

ya, we are just doing a little here a little there until its done, Really cant stay in the building to long because the smell in there with the smoke and all is terrible. There were some guys stoping by and buying stuff right on the spot!I am amazed how bad the damage is but, even more amazed how those plugs made it? the package's are melted around the plugs but it peels right off and the plugs inside are fine, not all of them but enough to make it worthwhile.

Be sure to go to that show, that stuff is going to go fast ! And for you needlefish nuts, there are plenty of those! I will also be letting out some of those snake secrets! Hope to see you guys there.May be the last season you can use eels!

I can see it now - the HOT color pattern this season will be "Scorched" or "Carbon"

Glad they will re-open.
