Aquaskinz Picture Contest
Why the contest: The Aquaskinz Team is putting together our 2006 advertising campaign. Because Aquaskinz is committed to being a company that develops and produces fishing products made for fishermen by fishermen, we would rather not use "staged" advertising photos. We are looking for clear pictures of Aquaskinz customers wearing Aquaskinzs products in either "action photos" or "bragging photos" (holding fish). We will award a prize package to the photo deemed to be most appropriate for use in our new advertising. The winning entry will receive a prize package whether or not the photo is used in future Aquaskinz advertising.
How to enter: To enter you must do two things. First, you must post your photo in this thread (limit two entries per person). Second, you must send your photo via attachment to (BasicPatrick@aol.com).
The Prize The winning photographer will receive an Aquaskinz Back Support Wading Belt plus other Aquaskinz accessories.
The Catch As with all things in life there is always a catch. By submitting a photo to this contest, the photographer is voluntarily giving Aquaskinz complete rights to use said photo(s) for the purposes of advertising and promotion. This applies to all photographs entered in the contest, not just the winning entry.
This contest will close at midnight on December 31st 2005...Happy New Year

these are from the summer 45 & 48 pounds, I got the new Evo 2 in October...
|
the full moon looks orange sometimes when it rises because the light has to pass through more of the atmosphere then when the moon is higher in the sky. the blue light waves scatter but the red light waves pass through...... if you were wondering.

Happy New Year Everyone!
As Patrick mentioned, I have been away taking care of product development and the like and just got back a couple of days ago...so this is my first opportunity to write.
Come on folks...I would have thought there would be a lot more pics with your "skinz" in action.
S-Bass members can do better, I am sure of this. So in an attempt to show the true caliber of the members here, I would like to extend the date to 1/15/06.
Come on members give em up  and win some kool prizes.
On the NEW product side for 2006, we have some kool stuff coming and they should be available for the shows  . Come by and take a look

One word of caution, you not only need the photographer to give you the right to use the picture you need the permission (called a model release) of the people in the picture.

Not bad for a little submission... Hope you enjoy em!
We may be doing this type of thing with more regularity down the road...the prizes will always be worthwhile and to make it interesting, we will vary them and make them "surprises" so you never know what you might get...
When we do this again, you guys/gals might want to have your pictures ready
