Steve's Sluggo Seminar

It was a great talk and how to by Steve McKenna tonite at the MSBA meeting. I learned a new method and can't wait to try his way of rigging those sluggos. The guy knows his stuff, I'd say anybody who fishes eels should check out his seminar.
It was good to get out and see the familar faces and enjoy a pre-show dinner with a bunch of good guys.

I have to agree that the seminar was absolutely outstanding. I am going to build myself a big pile of those rigged sluggos over the next couple of months in hopes that I too can have an "800 pound night" like he talked about.

He had a segment on "On the Water Magazine's" TV show last week. I too thought that was a rigging method I'll have to try.

Great seminar and Steve really seems like a great guy. My only complaint would be that I thought the stampede for the rigging directions was a little rude. It seemed like Steve was ready to do some Q&A which I think we all would have benefited from. It was nice that he stayed to talk with everyone one on one.

Paying Attention

I am glad I listen because I never would have retrieved the sluggo as fast as he told us to last night. Rigging is really quite simple. For the that did not hear Steve the rigging techniques was documented in the September issue of On the Water. Thier wont be any sluggos around for awhile. The 150 members there probably went out otday and bought them all.

When I left the meeting, I was thinking that this would be a really great method to teach my son. I'm tired of telling him to 'slow it down', and I'm sure he's tired of hearing it..

Fast and eratic, perfect for an 11 year old

Steve has a very nice presentation, very informational. I learned a lot last night. And those fish.....!!
