rod for 4 ounce plugs
Okay. Now I'm building thes big honking 4 ounce plus dannies. I go out to the garage tonight and as I was afraid of, the Tica rod I have is good to about 3 ounces. I'm on a Tica budget at the moment. For fishing these big plugs from the beach, what should I be looking at.
I was also tossing 3 ounce spooks form the yak this past summer. If I were to toss one of these big dannies fomr the yak, what should I be looking at, a 7' to 8' muskie rod?
Is there way to strike a balance with one rod for both of these applications using these big plugs?
