I nominate

The Mustad C68S SS tarpon hook as worthy of great consideration for rigging Sluggos.Seems like the best candidate I have experimented with thus far.

Don't go with the Mustad stainless Siwash. Too brittle and the eyes break under a little pliers pressure after you bend them shut. At least in sizes 6/0 or smaller

Mustad tinned Siwash are still good. It's always been a better hook even if it doesn't last as long before corroding.

Even with the closed eye as I posted? Still brittle?

would be using 7/0 up to 9/0 on some rigs...Thanks.

~~~~~~~~ Or the VMC Salmon siwash?
