The outlook right now for the 2006 Stellwagen Bank cod and haddock season looks great this year. The crew of RELENTLESS which is located in Green Harbor, Marshfield, MA is very excited about the news we are hearing about what is going on. The few boats who are still fishing are doing awesome with some quality fish being landed. The end of March marks the end of the commercial netters and longliners until later in the season and of course the Western Gulf of Maine closed area is open to recreational anglers making this a great place to fish. The limits of 10 cod per person and no bag limits on haddock offer you a chance to come home with fillets for friends and family.
This year we have kept our rates as low as possible and will start running the 1st of April. Currently we have good dates still available in April and May and others throughout the summer months.
