Ever Wonder Why.....

Anyone else here ever wonder why there are always 2 dozen registers in a supermarket, Wal-Mart, Home Depot and there are never more than just a few open at any one time???? Seems like a huge waste of money if you ask me!!!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

They saw you and knew you were the Guy slamming all of their "Express Registers" on all the Fishing Sites so they Closed them on you.

Well, seeing as how you can't add registers on the fly it would make sense to plan for max capacity...and you need a few backups in case of failure.

Home Depot seems to manage their lines pretty well.

Wal-Mart is another story entirely, but that's just their business model. Catering to low to low-middle incomes they really dont care how long you spend in line because the value is in the cheap product, not your personal time.

Arrow some are open 24/7

so depending on what your buying sometimes
its best to go either real early or real late.

I've never had a problem, although I try to patronize my local lumberyard/hardware stores as much as possible. The quality of the products at HD is often very poor, but we've beaten this horse before!
