lookin good - I like the stubbies. Are those dolls eyes that you are using ( white with black centers)? Colors are good - as nib says gotta love yella!!

Gonefishintalk, yeah those are doll's eyes. I just started playing with them. If you set them deep in the eye sockets they really rattle. As far as the colors go I'm pretty boring I know, but these have done me well over the years. Besides, I SUCK at fancy art work !

Nice looking stuff maniac

One thing on those darters though, it looks like the slope is a straight bevel. I always thought darters should have more of a gentle arc to that slope to help keep them from rolling over. You might want to try leaving more of a hump on that slope next time and see if there is a difference.

Very good observation slipknot ! That was something I learned to be cautious about when I first researched making darters. Fortunately they don't roll. They just slide back and forth. Maybe because I use 4/0 and 5/0 trebles on the belly ?
