Rods @ RISAA

Heads up, I picked up a show special YAD 7' conv. rod from King Cove last weekend, for $15+.
Its a great 2-6oz stick, mod action. I ended up extending the butt 11" to make it b'way rod, and bought another I liked it so much.
They will make a nice tog, chunking/liveling rod for you boat guys. DonM said he's only got so many left, guys were walking out w/ cases of them @ the Hartford show. make sure you swing by there and check them out!

Sooner or later you're going to realize just as I did that there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. - Morpheus

Thanks for the tip. I picked one up yesterday, met DonM, and purchased an Abu Ambassadeur 6500 TCST to put on it. It was great meeting Don and he was extremely helpful - Can't wait to get down to King Cove. My buddy picked up the same - great prices on both. Gonna primarily use it for lead in the B'ways. For now, added a butt cap right over the cork. I would have shredded the butt otherwise. Also, gonna wait to see if I need to add any length. I may need some advice on that - Thanks again.
