Gannets

The floor guys showed up today so I got off work early and walked down to the water to throw some new toys.

For the hour or so I was there I watched several gannets work the same stretch of water and occasionaily hit the water and come up with something.What it was I don't know as they were way to far out.
Herring I would assume?

There were some off the east end of the Canal on Wednesday. Still waiting for the first sign of herring in any numbers in the Canal run. The gannets are a good sign.
