West wall slow yesterday

Smokey and I went to the wall yesterday. By a lucky chance we also ran into "Homer" a friend of mine. We fished for 3 1/2 hours and got nada. We were at the usual spot. Nobody near us got any. Dave P was ten feet down from me and he got skunked too. Guys way down near the bend were getting occasional fish but it wasn't fast and furious. Problem was the wind died down. No wind and no real surf to speak of. We left at 7 so maybe they hit them at sunset.

Great day to be out there though. Was nice to run into Homer who had never been to the west wall before. Wish we had scored at least one apiece. I never even got a bump in over 3 hours. Was comfortable fishing since with no wind or surf it was both warm and dry.
