Where can I buy good jigs for rip jigging

I waited until the MSBA show but was disapointed that I couldn't find any good jigs for rip jigging. I like the swinging hook ones and saw some really cool ones on TV that had rubber squirt. On line would be great. I'm headed to MV the first week of June..... Any help is greatly appreciated.

Charlie at CMS in New Bedford has the sloped headed ones with the ring in back for a swinging hook. These are just the heads mind you. You have to add hook and dressing which can be rubber skirts, crinkled nylon etc. yourself. Great rip jig though. The sloped head keeps it down where it belongs.

Why even try.........

4 to 6oz, I don't have any pics of the jig. smiling bill, bullet, sloped head doesn't really matter. I'm looking for something with good action, that's why I was impressed with the ones I saw on the fishing show. I think is was fishing New England. I checked their website and had no luck.

My local #^&#^&#^&#^&'s Sporting Goods store stocks the Andrus jigs of various weights. The local store orders them for me in 3 and 4 ounces in several colors and they have swinging hooks. I don't know exactly what your looking for but you may want to check it out.

Hairyballs

I think you're looking for Hairball jigs, they were featured on a segment of OTW's TV show. They're tough to find, only a few shops carry them. I know Eastman's in Falmouth MA has them. They usually sell out pretty fast. They're made by a friend of mine, Capt. Eric Staplefeld, I don't think he sells them online. They're one of the best parachute-style jigs around. They have a double hook, which I've never seen on any other jigs. The big ones are perfect for wire-line. He makes them up to 8-ounces, I think.
I've also caught some nice bass vertical jigging them in areas with a lot of current.
He also makes smaller ones (3/8 oz) that are one of my all time favorites for albies/bonito. We troll them through the rips at a high speed (8-9 knots), which cuts down on the blues. Great lures. He has a new style coming out this year (crab hair-jig) that look pretty sweet, too.
Stop into Eastmans on your way to the Vineyard and load up on them.
