Its a nice idea RIRH
I`ve been thinking of revamping the traditional tube and worm for shore fishing for years now....I like how you did it with a big jig! Tubing is relatively cheap and sturdier than almost all plastic or rubber eels and worms.
Hope you catch the big Kahuna on it.
