Smile Stopped in...

To visit an old timer....

Its always great listening about days when 50 inch fish meant 50 lbs.. Hearing about fishing with Ted Williams.. and fishing the tuna tournaments..

And hows he's still pissed at Staff Carol for putting information about the tube n worm in the fishing report...

I guess they'd picked up on the tube n worm from a Long Island guy Bubbah Balou (apologies if my spelling is incorrect) and had been steadily picking away at fish for 6 yrs and no one out here knew or used it effectively.. Then they took out Staff Carol out one night to drag some tubes at a U.D.L (I'll be out there in my skiff )and he blew their secret right outta the water in the fishing reports the next day or week later....

Guys like this a truly a national treasure

Gave me the same advice he's been giving me since I was a kid fishing trout on my bike. ....
