Did I see it here, or imagine it?

Was their agreement any where on this board that we would not weigh in fish under 30 lbs for the Striper Cup?

There was a post by an MSBA member who said their club agreed to not weigh in anything under 30lbs.

Tough call - the way I look at it the top teams will probably have 10 fish over 30#s and the top anglers 5 fish over 30 so weighing in a 19 pounder probably won't make a difference in the end. However if someone choses to weigh in those fish, that's fine too and up to the angler. I don't think it will make too much diffeence in the end...

Thanks~!

John

I thought we had also agreed not to weigh in fish less than 30 pounds? If someone has one close that they think is 30 but ends up 27 or something , that's OK but we don't want to see small fish weighed in.

BUT if someone is going to register a fish for the top angler category it doesn't hurt to add that to S-B. THey probably won't count in the end...

I was sitting at that meeting when BP brought up a motion that MSBA members weigh in only bass that weigh 30 3's or more and it wasn't voted on. A couple of people had a problem with the fact that only boat guys would have a chance at a fish that big. Maybe the exec board took a vote????????
