Thumbs up Capt.Wayne

Bass Are Back In Boston!

Saturday, May 3, 2002: Although it was a very windy morning, there were lots of bass on herring with the going tide.
Small chartruese and white clousers were effective. Mainly, the fish were on top for a couple of hours on the going tide in the main channel off Castle I. and along Governor's Island Flats.

Sunday, May 4, 2002: The bass showed at first light from along Weymouth Gut Hill and into the Fore River. They were also up big time in the anchorage. Unlike Saturday, after the tide slacked, the fishing was spotty and mostly died on the outgoing tide. The fish are fresh from the ocean complete with sea lice chasing the blue back herring. Let the
games begin!

Until next week,

We'll see you out there...

Upcoming Events for 2002:

CCA-MA, South Shore Chapter One Fly-One Lure Tournament & Barbecue
Date: TBA
