Far east in the bay 7/5

The daughter and her boyfriend came down from Maine to do some visiting and fishing. Took off toward the east ran in the light rain and fog with flat calm seas, made my quickest time ever. The birds were working with small blues on top and stripers on the bottom. The boats jigging on the troll went by with not much showing for all there effort. Set up in the bouy line and a Dark Finn-s and Spro with pork rind dropped down and slowly jigged back up brought constant action. The boyfriend kept loosing them right at the boat. Too much slack in the line or he would try to muscle them when they made their last run. Fishfinder was constantly lit up with balls of bait and fish. The daughter still tried to forcefeed the striper to fatten it up. Did get one to bring home for dinner and a good time was had by all. (fitting picture for Maniacs)
