constructed in the mid 80's to early 90's on the Vineyard. Anyone have anything they can share about these boats. Thanks

Actually I can. I came this close to buying one. They made ( maybe they still make) a 32 footer that I worked on in Barnstable in the 70's. Great boat called the "Seawitch".

Though they started in Vineyard Haven, the molds for the 18 footer were shipped to a company called Fib-Fab, on Finlay Road in the Orleans Industrial park on the Cape. I went to see them because they sold hulls that were "seconds". The one I almost bought had a ripple in the fiberglass at the bow. Very minor but noticable. You had to finish the hull out yourself. No problem but my wife thought that $1,500.00 was too much and that nixed the deal for me. That was in 85/86.

There is a lot of them around and occasionally they show up on the want adds for sale. Novi style hull and without spray rails they roll a lot.

Why even try.........
