Giant caught off of________________?

A rumor made it's way to central Mass that a giant weighing 1180 pounds was caught off of ______________. Not wanting to burn spots, does anyone know the story? The fish was caught off of Massachusetts waters and I hear the fisherman was livelining a bluefish.

I saw 15 or so boats and 2 planes in fairly close in a Bay on Wed. and plenty of bluefish around. Must be something going on in that area. P.

I heard from a fishing buddy that someone caught a 1100 pound giant off of PTown several days ago. Then a two days later the guy working at Fishermans Outfitters in Dennis told me the fish weighted 1180 pounds and was caught using a live bluefish. I imagine those are the same person/fish.

I thought someone here may or heard the story behind it.

There was one boat that got 2 giants out there last week on the same day. Each went around 700. Not a bad day if you ask me.

By the way Peter, my partner called out sick with the stomache flu thingy. Same thing I had days prior. Sick as a dog. Didn't think standing on a rocking boat 15 miles from the closest bathroom was a good idea. So we never launched.
