Wire Line Setup??

I was thinking about getting a wire line outfit for this year. Last year I tried trolling umbrella rigs on mono around Point Judith and Charlestown without much luck. I haven't used wire before so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what rod/reel combo they would recomend. I know that the rod has to have special guides on it so the wire won't destroy them, but im not sure what they're called. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

(I thought i remembered a thread on this from a while ago but I searched and couldnt find it.)
