first fish

on a wooden needle!!
It was sweet!!!
I have been a diehard eelmen for the last 5 years, monday night I fished with my girlfriend and decided to try a lonely angler blurple needle that I picked up at the RISSA show. I had fished it a few nights with no luck. monday night it outfished her eel for the first 20 minutes or so. I took a bass of about 30 inches and another just shy of 20 lbs or so.
My girl took a nice 18 lber, her first and biggest of the year on an eel, and the action slowed on the plug so i went back to my trusty snake.
It was pretty sweet to feel the take of a fish on the surface wood and then to slide a decent bass onto the rocks with a big ol needle sticking out of its mouth.
heres to you plug fishermen
I see why the love to fish with big wood. It will be in my arsenal more, but I still love the wiggly's.

That's great nightprowler, now that we have you converted, keep up the good work.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Thats what i'm worried about!!
I had to replace 3 guides on one of my rods tonight, and while im doing it im thinking all i need now is a motor and i can start turning my own rods, and then get a lathe and start turning my own wood.
if only money weren't an issue....
