How Many plugs
Have you lost last season?
I set a new record and only lost 2, one I made at Cuttyhunk and one fathead 3 oz. popper at the herring run up north here. I bet it is still hanging in that tree

None. Of course, I was living in Wyoming all season, so it was hard to lose them.

7 or so. I'm good for leaving them on my bedrails or on my back bumper and driving away. I can think of 3 I lost that way. Lost two hab's while fishing. One to a lobster trap and one to an open snap. They both hurt.

5 for me this year.Had a chipped eyelet that accounted for two small pencil poppers of the plastic yo-zuri type.Lost a Pt.Jude Wobblehead to a lobsterpot.I had another one of those big Yozuri pencil's that let fly to a freyed line. One canal special to the open waters from the same freyed line.On my final trip of the season walking along a rocky stretch I found an AH Fatboy laying in a weedbed @ lowtide.Made up for all of my lost tackle. All in all wasn't bad but I did spool up this year alot from blues and freyed PP.I need to get a better line.

only two. a wobblehead to a lobster pot and a blurple 3 oz hab's needle to a high 30s - low 40s bass while guiding it by the leader to a cranny in the rocks where I could land it. That hurt - watching her slowly go down to the bottom and swim away with my last big blurple habs.

I lost about 12 mostly Tattoo's to rocks on braided line. Some Pt Jude tins some poppers and the 1 that hurt the most was my Hab's needle.

Lost one needle to a seal, a Tagger needle to a bad knot , and threw away a successful prototype 3 oz wood SS clone needle, a prototype small Frech banana (lucky baztard who finds that), and my most productive Lazyfish handcarve. What a moron.

5 for me. I think I lost all five in 2 days in RI this fall. Blues had something to do with it. A couple were on the drift. Didn't even feel them hit.

YIKES
I didn't fish as much as l.i.fish.in.vt but I did lose between 30-40 to blues and seals
I lost 12 and 3 flies on one trip alone bluefishing, bastages
seals got a few of mine too but I got more fish in fast enough away from the seals than they got from me
My most prized loss was a beachmaster Wad out on cutty on a cast off from a wind knot getting hung up on a guide during the cast

One Mac canal special first cast first trip watching Rappin Mikey reel in a 38, and not paying attention to the trees.
Good news is that I cast off another at Cutty and spent an hour casting at it and finally got it back to shore .

I lost a half dozen plus but the most painful loss was a Jigman Spook - several years old, but an AWESOME fish producer. Almost afraid to use it at times and never when blues are around, I was like an overprotective father with that plug

Two. Both ancient Gibbs plugs; a black needlefish and a 3 OZ yellow darter. Lost them both the same way; while putting them back in my bag I got pasted by a wave and they were gone...

5; 2 hab's needles to the bottom, A salty needle to an operator error (forgot to take the line off the roller) an Eastend Lu bottle darter and my favorite......a large blue Tagger needle That one really suked as it was 1 of only 2 lures producing that night. A blurple bomber and THE NEEEEDLE. Once that neeeedle was gone the fish wouldn't touch anything
On the bright side; I didn't lose a plug to a seal. Didn't get out on the Race either even though I had a sticker.
Now if we talk jigs................. probably 30 to 40. Left 8 on the bottom one night. Packed it in after that.
