Geez I was going to go to that one this year because the Marlborough show has really gone south quality wise.

I heard the same from the local Sage rep, no more Wilmington show. Brad said Sage will be at the Marlboro show this year.

I think the $700.00 rods and very expensive reels have a lot to do with it?

For any of you guys looking for something this weekend, there is the big fly tying show in Somerset, NJ. Just google International Fly Tying Symposium, and you'll see all of the information. My club has a booth at the show, so I'll be there at some point this weekend.
The show location is about 30 minutes from Newark Airport, or about 40 minutes from Manhattan.
A.K. Best, Dave Skok, Jack Gartside, and Enrico Puglisi are some of the many tiers that will be featured at the show. Our local club meeting is tomorrow night, and we are having AK Best and Theo Bakelaar presenting to us. This will be the third year in a row that they have come to our meeting, and they always do a great job. Our club is lucky enough to have the guy that puts these shows together as a member, so we have gotten some great guests as a result.

The Shriners show was one of the best for fly fishing. Yap, those rods were very expensive.

I checked out the Marlboro show and it looks like the same old show. If it keeps getting bad it too will fail. The only thing that is saving it now is that it's the first show of the season. I liked the Bear's Den show and the Saltwater Edge has a nice little show.
