Striper Addiction

As I watched Fever Pitch last night, all I could do is relate to him as my striper addiction, Has anyone else seen this movie and if so are we that bad? I could relate to him in mostly everything that happened except the break up

Worse

I fished HARD thursday night, friday night, sat night, sun AM. I am tired, sore, bruised. I caught very little for my efforts. I cannot wait to go out again Thursday. I would go out tonight if my wife would still talk to me afterwords.

if it is an adiction

If it is an addiction - I want to go in disability - and get paid while I fish.

I moved to the Cape 5+ years ago...My wife sold me on the move (even before I even put eyes on the house) by telling me there are woods near the house to go hunting and we will be 8 miles from the canal....So, its her fault....Am I in denial...Oh well, I think I will go fishing..

Addiction - golf doesn't even compare. It is a world unto itself and one that many outside would never understand. It gets even down to even more minor detail and those who experience can only know ... I once knew a guy who had to get new brakes for his car, but decided to use the money to go fishing in Alaska ... his car wound up rotting where it stood.
