Dam-it

I just got called back to work, good and bad news
good for the wife/wallet
bad for my fishing
Plus I don't really want to work for them,
but I couldn't find anything that paid that good, so money talks
I will call him back tomorrow. Dam-it

I feel your pain bro, one way you feel lucky to be working, the other way you hate being owned by them

Very true, I hated telling people I was laid off, I never even looked for a job though. even tho I said I was looking, Kinda hard while sitting on the beach next to your truck. I still haven't called him back I am not starting until 11/1 anyways due to The Fall Run and I am helping a friend build a wall and walkway

I talked with him today, and there isn't work for a couple of weeks
I can kinda milk it out for the rest of the month. maybe miss some of
the demo. but the job they took I know from before I left is going to
suck, it is in a mill in Lawrence and it is nasty.

Bob - maybe while you are fishing, in between runs to the beach, you can search for a different job, better - more money and more flexible for fishing - it's possible.
