Question got herring?

Being new to the use of live herring and the schedule of herring on there run i was wondering if the run is over or are there still some to be had and where? North? Any help on this subject would be great. Thanks

just found this out

im in southeast ma and from what i was told the herring are making their way back to the ocean from whitmans pond in weymouth and they are letting the public take a dozen or so every sat. morning and wed. afternoons. im gonna check it out this wed. ill let you know how i make out

middleboro is closed for the season...

i think bourne is too (not sure)...

don't know how watertown is ...

There is a trickle in Warwick but that may be done by when it's legal again.

Watertown might be the best bet as that usually runs into later June. Just sucks to drive that far only to find they are not running at that particular time...

Weymouth is sold out of permits. Watertown is hit or miss. I went 2 fridays ago and you could'nt walk without stepping on one. The next day there were none at all.
