a rake? nahh we got none of those.
that will be taken care of next spring with the first mow of the year. whell maybe late,,,, late,,, spring. like after the herring run late spring. whell maybe early summer..

Heck stick a Briggs and Stratton under that with 4 wheels and a cutting deck let him go to town. Make a heck of a riding lawnmower.

never rake leaves...

they have all the minerals the soil needs
much better to run them over with a mulching lawnmower
and feed them to the worms ...then they feed the tree again.

if they are oak leaves then use a blower
oak leaves inhibit grass from growing because of
the tannic acid in them... which stains cement.
