PATRIOTS vs colts

whatcha think? should be patriots by 7+. i'm thinkin' that they remember last years game and this one would put them in the drivers seat when the real season begins.

We have three quality running backs facing a defense that is unable to stop the run, and we're thowing passes that aren't connecting....

I don't have a good feeling about this one, Chief.

Boy! That din't work out at all! Too many penalties....can't blame Brady for all 4 INT's.....3 of them were tipped by his receivers! But they still hurt the same!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Bad play calling,to many penaltys, bad decisions and passes by Brady,DB's that can't cover.
I don't know how Manning compleated at least 4 of them passes?
We will get them next time in the PLAYOFFS

What happened to the game plan of "Running the Ball"?
Even though they were behind they should have run the ball!!!
They get a 1st down on two running plays and then pass on 1st
down!!!
Makes you wonder how bad Brady's shoulder is?
Last week indoors he looked good!!!
This week out in the cold he looked bad!!!

poor game plan- run game? secondary never turns to look for ball- just reacts after ball is caught- manning and all his receivers exposed them badly! our recievers tipped 2 int's! only highlight was maroneys k/o returns- kid is great. some of those penalties???- we had almost 100 yds in penalties. colts outcoached and outplayed us and should have won by more! BIG DISSAPOINTMENT... thank God we're at the halfway point.

Pass coverage was the biggest deficiency....there was nobody within 10 feet of Harrison every time the ball was thrown his way!

I only watched the first quarter, and I got to see all of the Denver game last week. My take? At age 53, I think I could run for 100 yards against the Colts' defense

Mark this down--you are not going to win a Super Bowl if you can't stop the run. I don't care if you run the table in the regular season. The playoffs are all about ball control and defense.

Baltimore is going to be the AFC rep in the SB. Jamal Lewis seems to be back in playing form instead of jailhouse form, they now have a legit, tho old, QB in McNair, and their defense is another typical great Baltimore defense. But now they have an offense to go with it.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

that harrison catch in the endzone was absolutely amazing. i couldn't believe he pulled that off.

pats played like crap, the colts didn't and won, they'll meet again in the playoffs, in the dome.

Pats can only get better next week, Mangini is going to get the full wrath.
Keeping it to 7pts with 5 turnovers and almost 100yds in penalties is the best I can take from this game.

Manning is very good. It was nice to Adam V. miss.

give credit where it is due .. watched the whole game ,, That was Not the same Manning ,, He was hanging in there until the last second ,taking some good hits , and making completions. Not the old happy feet guy we are use to . Amazing as crappy as the Pats played they only lost by 7 . passes bouncing off recievers hands,, Dillions 1st fumble of the year... Opening drive was a beautiful thing until the Hail Mary pic at the end,, WTF,,, Colts played Great ,, we stunk up the joint .. I'll take the win in the playoffs.. I'd say that was a team loss ..everyone had a part in it ..

Brady had a bad game
the refs need to take their skirts off
our corners can't cover squat
we did not run the ball enough
we had a chance and blew it and handed them the game, pats didn't deserve to win, the better team won last night and it sucked watching it. Everyone there said they should be running the ball more, less passing

If Faulk's hands were not on backwards all night, it's a different game. i think that was on of the biggest factors. And the cushion the CBs were giving was way too big.

They still kept it close, maybe the HC NEP kept something up his sleeve for the playoffs.

Why would he do that, when the stakes are playing the AFC Championship in 15 degree weather on frozen turf that's horrible even on a 70 degree day (or maybe even in a blizzard), versus playing it indoors on a fast track that lets the Colts receivers run precise routes

That loss had huge implications for the play-offs. it caused a 3 game swing for home field through-out the play-offs.

if they won (and the play-offs started now) they would have had home field through-out the play-offs. Now because of the loss they are only guaranteed home-field in the 1st round.

They would need indy to lose 3 more games than them the rest of the season to get the home field and Denver to lose one more. They lose both of the tie-Breakers against those teams because they lost to them.

I agree, I don't think Bill held anything back....they just plain stunk up the joint on Sunday

What's his record indoors? Against the Colts indoors?

I'm not saying he threw the game only that not all hope is lost. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
