need advice on lip selection
Need some help.. finally made a swimmer that i really like the action on... now i want to make a smaller version.. the lip on the large one is the atom 40 lip from NJ tackle...
what smaller size lip would best simulate that action? not looking to make one myself..
any thoughts greatly appreciated...

Really depends on the size of the plug. Possibly the Lefty1 or Lefty2 would do it.

I just went and checked the 40 lip against other lips I have - and really can't find anything that has the same shape in a smaller size. I think you'll have to mess around with Lefty lips or possibly some of the small pikie lips.

I think I have just what u need. Just finished them.
You guys must have ESP or something.
Its a thicker version of the Danny #2, with a single hole in the middle. The BIG difference is the bend dimensons which are exactly the same at the LEFTY #2, if u can picture that, I will post a pic later tonight, with the A-40, next to it.

I'm lazy MAN!!! What's the about buying something so you can do work to change it!!?? Are you insane!!!
Me trying to alter a lip would be like most of you trying to build a working automobile out of a glass of water..

Mike CC has some lips, don't know if they would work for a Atom Jr. There is also another company in the Upper midwest that makes lips, but I don't remember the name.
