Troy Brown ........
Troy Brown is HUGE he is a hero. That guy is a team player, he is a football player. What a game impact he had from key 1st down catches to that strip that changed the game He is the man
Brady has a bad game can't get anything done but when it counts at the end of the half and the end of the 4th, he comes up huge as a winner. He is nothing but a winner
Caldwell made catches! and TD
Matt Light stopped the idiot steroid abuser and made a play recovering our fumble
Colvin on that interception
Oh ya, the coaching how can ya beat Bill?
Our kicker is just fine, he made kicks under pressure just like the guy we used to have
Gaffney caught alot of passes
Graham had a key catch
Hawkins made plays
Samuel with so many break ups on pass coverage especially near the end on 3rd down.
Koppen was huge
The Defense kept LT from long runs for a score, even though he did get a huge screen for a long gain.
24-21 I am stoked and ready for INDY in their house, it doesn't matter. Pats will be ready
WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been singing Troy Browns praises all season long! If not for all that he does....all the little intangible things....the Pats would not be where they are right now!

My brother, Bob called before the game from SanDiego to give me the "business". He's a real sports nut and should be a color commentator instead of an RN, very knowledgable. Explained the reasons why the Pats would lose. All I had was SD had no Brady or Belichik. He called again from work to concede. The Pats took advantage of breaks and made some. San Diego flat blew that game. They couldn't keep up with an ever esculating level of play and made some dumb mistakes. On to Indy!!

One of the most intense games I have ever watched, my wife couldnt bear to watch, she went upstairs and watched Law and Order...She's been a season ticket holder since the old Sullivan erra, but the stress was too much... Just goes to prove whats on paper doesnt mean what will happen on the field..... if that game was coached properly by the Bolts and the they played for 60 minutes instead of haveing a power outage for the last 10... they win the game...maybe by 2 touchdowns...Marytball at it's finest, I see alot of Mike Martz and Herm Edwards,there....
Troy is an example of what every pro athelete should be..
LT... sad to be such a sore looser.... he was showing the result of a poorly coached, undisciplined team....

The football equivalent of Ali vs Foreman....
San Diego was the stronger team and should have won - but the Patriots were smarter.

I gota admit, pats had me worried most of the game. Even though they stopped Merriman(huge) they still struggled most of the game. In a way I thought SD shot themselfs in the foot with drop passes and stupid penalitys and wasted T/O. Troy Brown stripping was un ball ivable!! What was also impressive was the way Caldweld had a nose for the ball jumpin on it when the Sany player was right there. Again a team that has the full package comes out on top. Gonna be nutts next week.

Joe,
Get Phil Simms out of your head. You've been brainwashed.
I watched few games that the lead announcer favored one team so much.

When Brown stripped that interception, wasn't that a fourth down play? Instead of intercepting it should have been batted down. And the ball would have been SDs. At the line of scrimmage. Collossal blunder.

ya, the guy said after the game he thought he could see his way to the endzone to make a touchdown then Troy stripped the ball
heads up play by Brown for sure, not just luck like some say either, they practice stuff like that and it's imbedded into their brains.
The Pats are winners, and it sounds like the Chargers showed their true colors as losers.

Experience has nothing to do with it. It's just instinct. Once a ball is snapped, what down it is may not even register on a DB. It's the most challenging position in football to play. Interceptions happen almost automatically--instinct takes over. And to the extent that any thought goes into it, 99 out of 100 DBs would think that they don't keep stats on knocked down passes, but Ints get you to the Pro Bowl and the HOF.

Troy Brown has been making these plays for years....
Remember the blocked field goal against the Steelers and the runback and latteral... there are others that I cant think of right now.... big time players, make big time plays... I hope he retires a patriot.
