The boat has been moved outside and is now under a sunshade as it does not need to be protected from the rain down in Southern Florida as the interior of the hull has been deemed mostly cured and the areas that needed to be gelcoated have been gelcoated and are now dried. Plus, things will set up and cure quicker outside in the partial sun.
This first pic is not unlike the last pic, doesn't really show much but I can still make out the bow rise and flare and it just looks awesome.
This second pic is of the Poly-Stern fuel tank with the hardware on it and the supports above it keeping it in place. I was originally going to get a single 100 gallon aluminum tank but after thinking about it and the issues I could/probably would run into in the future with the E-10 and inevitable deterioration of the tank, even though my current 70 gallon 20 year old tank is holding up just fine, I decided to get the twin 60 gallon poly tanks that run front and rear. I also knew it would be good to be able to have my primary 60 gallon tank forward of the console to offset the weight of the engine on the bracket and to help keep the bow down if things get/got testy on the water and use the stern tank as my reserve but being sure to use the fuel in it up every so often to not let the stuff go bad. The tanks will come with a manual petcock that will be under the console for the switching between the two tanks.
Then there is the under-console space where the batteries, power steering pump, trim tab pump and crapper will go. The starboard rigging tube is foamed in as well. Slowly but surely, things are moving along down there.
