Anyone know of decent charters out of Marco Island FLA?

I'm headed to Naples in late March and want to take a shot at snook, tarpon or something I can sight fish for - small boat inshore fishing. Any referrals out there? I have heard of one, Dawn Patrol, that is recommended, but I'm all ears.

Thanks for any 411.

marco island charter

Hi,
I was there two weeks ago, and booked a half day back water trip with Six Chuter charter. I stoped by charter row and viewed the available boats, the six chuter boat was the cleanest, I checked in the local marine store and the six chuter was recomended. We had a great afternoon on the water, caught many fish, our captain Rob did a great job.
good luck,
Peter

Check out this site, as it has a number of different guides.

http://www.marco-island-florida.com/fish/char.htm

Of those listed, I know that Jay Peeler is real good and a real upstanding guy, as is Terry Shaughnessy - he's good friends with Mark Nichols of DOA Baits, and as is Stacy Mullendore who I was introduced to by Jay Peeler.

Any of these guys/guides can help you as they are all good. Another good regional captain is Andrew Bostick - if he fishes that area still.

Good luck and send photos
