Pulled a bunch of these out of the pond in my parents backyard in Florida.I've been out of the freshwater scene for a long time so, is this a Bluegill? I don't remember them looking quite these colors.

				 | that is a bluegill. What you catch up here are pumpkinseeds. You can tell the difference by the color. The bluegill has the blue/green tinge, whereas the pumpkinseed has a orange hue to it.
Alot of guys call a pumkinseed a bluegill up here. they're all related I believe. Great fun on spider flies and a 2 weight..specially for kids |

				 | LEt's see....it looks like bait. Transport via liveewell to Flint Pond or Spy Pond. Take a pair of scissors...remove dorsal fin...add one 6' heavy duty freshwarer rod, a large hook and a float bobber. Result: Roy L's elusive Tiger Musky State Pin. |
