Soaking wet and happy!

First real foray into the some heavy surf and it was FUN!!!Even caught a few bass.

After being really sick for a good part of the past 10 days it felt awesome to get wet and catch a few.Having to continue to work and do my basement too after how I just felt I'll never take fishing for granted again.Like Clammer says:"Enjoy what you have."

Excellent, glad you're feeling better. Time is the most prescious commodity there is, something that is easy to forget about in an economy that promotes WORK WORK WORK. I swear I'm going to end up a communist just so I can spend more time with my family and , of course, fish more. Are you fishing the beaches at LC? I've yet to catch much off the beach I go to down that way, but it sure is perty... I caught a nice 40" at the "point" down that way in November- my best fish last season.

Here's a couple of quotes that I find humorous (and a little truthful):

"Don't take life TOO seriously, or you'll never get out alive!"

"Are you working to live or living to work?"

"Sometimes you just have to bow to the absurd."

"It's like throwing rocks into the ocean."

"God is playing to an audience that is afraid to laugh."

I fish year round, salt/fresh, hard or soft water.
I keep telling my overworked brothers that they need to take care of themselves, do things that they enjoy regardless of what others may think, and learn to laugh at the absudities in life.

I think back when I was younger, and I believe almost every family has that "wacky" uncle or aunt that everyone liked to have/be around. Those relatives probably found their own secret to a happy life. I have such an uncle. He's my godfather as well, and everyone sees the same personality traits in me as him. Seeing how enjoyable he is to talk to (even in his late 70's) I can only aspire to enjoy my life as much as he is his.

You can either find the time or make the time, but the quality will be the same either way.

God I can't tell you how nice it is to be alive, and seeing the sun come up every morning and to do the things we do to make us happy only if more people would stop and smell the Roses as they say it's a great life my .02

Had what could be considered a MASSIVE sinus infection.Even after the full antibiotic regiman I still don't feel "right",but I feel good.

Hell I even left my plug bag on the roof of my truck last night and drove the 1/2hr home only to turn around to drive another 1/2hr back and find it in the middle of the highway. All that without truly blowing a gasket, came close to it but remembered "Enjoy what you have".

I don't have a ton but I do have something.

Clammage has good philosophy.

PS.Another fantastic night btw.

Luckily that road isn't that busy this time of year - aside from the occasional Police Cruiser parked off to the side....waiting for my MA plates......

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

I've driven half a mile home with a storm shad that refused to let go of the roof of my car - through several turns, too...

Must have been a great feeling to find it lying there, waiting for you!!

It was.But for the first time in a very long time I was ready to just let "it" go.Finding my bag felt like a bonus.

Now if you only could have left the sinus infection behind earlier........
