Who's Fishing on Mom's Day
I was curious on how many of us get to fish today. My hat is off to any of you who manage to get that in on this day. I have to say my odds aren't looking good but the day is just starting out!

Just got in from first casts of the year. Three in the mid-low teens and one 26". Lead Mills, on outgoing for you north shore guys. (Not a spot burn as this is just where they show up first around here, other oceanside spots will bust open within a week of mid twenty inch fish at the Lead Mills, acording to my logs)

I had a really nice morning this morning, although it was very early. I Learned a few things about 2 types of plugs I rarely use, and brought home a nice 32" fish for dinner tomorrow. The important thing though was that I was home 15 minutes before the kids got up, so mom got to sleep in late...

A little bit of Everything
Ok had a great day with the family. Went to the beach and then we fished a local pond so technically I did get to fish! Nothing caught but still had fun.

I fished south of Jamestown and found some decent fish. Nothing over 15#. Back home for noon but I had bought the card and flowers beforehand.

Got out for the first half of the day yesterday to a nice spot in the Boston area. Tons of fish around, some even hitting something on the surface now and again, but very finicky when it came to plugs and the like (should have brought some bait!). Only caught a few between me and my buddy, but he did get a nice 24" on a 6# setup. Heading up to the Merrimac tommorow to make some casts and hopefully do some catching.
