My weekend

I went out to Salisbury state and was fishing off the rocks.. I brought 2 of my friends who I should state never fished before.
One of the guys was from Japan and I have to say was the funniest thing to watch I gave him a decent rod and a quick run down on how to cast. Now this is the best part he would bring the rod up over his head and with a HIIIII YAAAAAY would swing so fast you can hear the swish. He would go from standing to a crouching position……Most times the line would shoot straight up and only land a few feet in front of him…..

So after allot of laughs and a ton of gear snagged up on the rocks we got him fishing right…

The current was wicked strong we were out there a couple of hours before the T-storm hit

Only stripper we saw was floating belly up past us

Anyone have tips on how to beat the currents?
