Picture in this weeks fisherman

This week the Fisherman magazine printed a picture of my daughters first striper. It was caught at the marina we keep our boat, while fishing with worms my 2 kids both hooked the same fish with each of there ultralight trout rods,4 lb test line 3 years old. So Jenna's big brother got to help her land her first striper. Not a moby by any means but it's a start.She was thrilled. And my son was beaming to get his picture in the mag. Bruce, good work!!! It took me 32 years before my name was ever mentioned in the fishing reports section and your duaghter and son are in there at 4 and 6!!!! Good work. You have to love how their faces light up when they catch a fish like that. Always worth it to see them light up!!!

Thanks John, That's what fishing with your kids is all about. By the way Dan is 9 and Jenna is 6.
The people at that mag. love to put in pictures with kids. I'll bet you will get your's in there someday.
