Boat names
Polling the audience---
What do people think of the name DOGGY STYLE for a boat owned by two veterinarians? My fourteen year old son came up with it (not surprising) but does have merrit. Serious replies optional.

Two guys in a boat named "Doggie Style" - not good (unless you fish around P-Town). What about "Dog House" ?

Hey Scotch - what if it's a Husband & Wife Vet Team?
Seriously - I think it's a funny name but you will certainly get a lot of looks and probably a profanity or two

I haven't given much thought to the neutering angle but maybe you are on to something. My wife IS the other veterinarian. She was warm to the Doggy Style name but unsure of it reception. I would love to find a similar name but one that not so obviously in your face all the time. Perfect for Austin Powers.

Doggy style...ha I like it!
Personally, you may want to persue the Spay route.
Play around with spaying...you'll think of something.

SEA SPAY is up there on the list but DOGGY STYLE is still in first position. I like REEL AL'LURE. My wife who has much better taste said she really liked it, "Very cute".

Boat Name
Hey Doc,
Not a bad name. Are you going to have the name on the back of your boat or is this just something to call it? What do you think of the name " Heart Worm." After you spend a ton of money on the thing, you will have Heart Worm !!!

I'm always partial to "Suck My Wake", "The Fornicator", and "Dr. Jellyfinger". I don't think a classy boat's complete without one of them.
On another note, my buddy just named his boat "The Codfather", but "Sir Rosis of the River" was a close second.

Fornicator a definite runner up to Doggy Style but I also like Flea Bite and Sea Spay. It was easier to name my two sons then this boat. Thanks for all the great names and feel free to keep them coming.

Sea Spay has more class. Doggy Style is clever but people with kids may not like it. I always felt the name should not attract negative attention , even if you have to pass up a clever name.
f you name yoyr boat "Drug Runner" you will definitely get more visits from the Coast Guard than if you call it "Sea Bisquit".
Anyway , good luck choosing!

I'm with Saltheart, I like it but some people may find it offensive. But, if your not going to paint it on I'd say go for it. I saw a boat in Snug harbor last week called Codfather. I named mine "Beach Blonde" cause she's a washed out yellow, it's not her original color, and she's black beneath the water line - the wife hates it.
How bout doggie paddle
I do like sea spay

Gee my boats name is Lund , never gave it a special name of it's own, but I'm sure some of my guests can...lol. You guys are concentrating on the dog names, man I'd have a lot more fun with the pussy cat names , but alas it's a family board. Then if you also handle the large animals, well that's an entirely different barn door.

I knew a doc from downeast, since passed on, who named his yawl, OFF CALL. Always knew what he did for a living!
I have gotten my hull work done and the graphics on, but no power as yet. But have gotten a lot of comments about the name, Stars and Stripers!

When choosing a boat name I have two criteria. The name must refer or infer a part of me personally and have something to do with fishing. I also want a name of my own, not one that I have seen or heard of before. Sea Spay sounds great, I agree that the other one is a little too adult for the public. How about "Their Turn" as in it is the nimals turn to treat you...or "Man's Best Freind"
