Dumb?!?!
Some moron robbed a tanning salon in Quincy today......a tanning salon.....in July????? Bet they got away with a few dozen dollars!!! Who the heck goes to a tanning salon in July anyway???
Oh....and by the way.....why do these people rob a Tanning Salon or a Cumby's at gunpoint?!?!?! How much are they gonna get?!?!?!? Armed robbery carries a pretty severe sentence.....so if you are gonna use a gun....wouldn't you just go for broke and hit a bank????

Armed robbery actually doesn't carry a mandatory minimum sentence in Mass.
Armed robbery while masked carries a minimum 5 year sentence.

I had a dope in Brooklyn who was holding up Mob connected businesses with a toy guy
For some inexplicable reason, he took a plea quicker than any other client in my memory
Wasn't there a Darwin finalist recently who tried holding up a gun shop, and left toes-up?

It always cracks me up when people try and rob gun shops, it seems like it never works out well for them

The one I'm thinking of was a real winner--I think there was a police cruiser parked right by the front door of the gun shop, too. Guy literally had to walk around it to go inside
