Topwater at night

Go for it! Tried these last pm, surf howdies, a great daytime plug....by the light of a big hazy moon. Knew fish where around, picking away and lots of bumps with a teaser and needle. Said , "why not ?", had heard of others having success. Unbelievable result! Fish just blasted the thing over and over. Never have I seen bass strike so hard at night. Not bragging size fish (I don't think they were there), but 15-20 lb bass going bezerk over and over on a topwater plug in the moonlight has me smiling still. Lesson learned.

Nice George. I got tons of fish this spring on the same plug, but copied by me, sorry John. The fish just loved the action. Glad to hear they work at nite.

howdies rule

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Working them, walk the dog style, same as I do during daylight, maybe a little slower.....but they'd chase it fast too, just had a harder time hitting it.

George - I'm a big fan of Howdys and Spooks at night - I think they are way under fished at night...

Cool beans!
Had a similar night on the same plug in purple haze.
High teens & 20# class fish for nearly 3 hours. It was the first of back to back nights of mayhem at the same location.

At night? Needles and Slug-go's only up here! Are you guys serious?
The only other option is chunk.

I should be catching Z's, instead spending my nights, catching fish and letting them all go!
