Doing a weekend thing in RI that does not include fishing, can you believe it?
But have Sunday afternoon, will probably hit the beach, although I should have packed my rods to fish Rhody rather than coming back north to Mass.
My goal is to get Sydney, my 2-year old (she's 2 and 9 months) on the beach with me for fishing so she can see some action. Hope to make it work. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Also, start to pack for Cutty.

I have a couple who are flying in from Chicago just to fish on Sat AM. Bait has come in close as of yesterday, so will be running and gunning on the boat, chasing busting water and birds. I am still hoping to do some livelining pogies, but will satisfy them first with topwater stoopid fishing. Gotta fuel up and change out some rods and reels for the topwater stuff. Will probably be 50-50 beach/boat if bait stays in close. I missed a monster blitz yesterday afternoon..... was getting calls about it starting at 3:30, went on for hours.

Stay in and watch my son tonight so my wife can go out with the girls. Yard work Sat. am, then golf tournament in RI on Sat. afternoon. Watch the Pats dismantle the Jets on Sunday, then cash in my babysitting points from tonight so I can fish Sunday night.

After spending way too much $ on a wedding last weekend I already hit the tackle shop this morning and got Eels, Herring, Hooks and a new sand spike for $ 26.00. Thats all the money I plan on spending this weekend unless I catch a #50 lber that I would then mount

I'm taking the weekend off from fishing to rest my casting arm for Cutty. Looks like I'll be getting the new house situated, gearing up for next weekend and watching football.

Still recovering from my mystery illness. Whatever "it" was really kicked my a$$. I'm feeling much better now and I should be back to work Saturday night though. I have lots of training and graduate school starting soon. Looks like my fishing is done until after September 27th. This year was a big stinkeroo for me. I don't know how you guys with a wife and kids do it.

Had my one day off this week already...today was the other, but I was gone for 6 hours at work...didn't like the look of traffic heading north, so I came home.
I'm actually working all the way thru till the Cutty trip.
Hey there big daddy, you gonna need three straight jackets just for me!!!!!
