Did ya miss me?

No? OK, well, I understand... Anyway, had a GREAT time on MV this week fishing the Derby. The stars were in alignment and I got to go. Ran from RI to Boston for StriperFest (Again, congrats Team Striped-Bass.com ) and afterward made a beeline to Woods Hole and hopped on a boat as standby....

First night walked A LOT. Found access to a new to me U.D.L. that looked sweet, and we'll just call "Google Point" but was barren of fish or bait. Followed just after to a trip to Philbins Beach (some of you recall thinking how fishy it looked after the news was showing 24hrs/day after JFK Jr.s plane went down). Nothing at Philbins and nothing to the right towards Gay Hea.... uhh, The Cliffs at Aquinnah...

Got out one night with Sandman - thanks Jim . Props to this guy. Mr. Sandman, his son, and I head out and fish an area where they both get some nice fish, with his son being Large Hook of the evening - me, the dunce, forgot my waders in my truck...

Spent a few more days in MV chasing bass including one more all nighter, getting a decent slug of bass from small to into the 20's . Got a couple pictures taken this morning at the wright station - they might be up tonight or tomorrow (I don't have them yet)

Lots of Fun , not much sleep , lots of back pain

Thanks to the MV Fishing Shack, Patrick, Lee, Wendy, Johnny C, Eelskimmer, The Legal Team, Scotty, Jim, et al

John,

As always my friend it was great to spend some time doing what we have been doing together for a long time. I will jump on and be the first to congratulate you as you won the 1st place daily shore S-B for 10/6 for your 27#....(I took 4th).

Unfortunately our spot died this evening...just a few dinks but there is a weel left so it is bed time for 2 hours.

I can;t get that song out of my head....oh, oh oh, oh Thunder Road...
