this is it

the final whooo ra. If you listen to any sports channels lately, most have already packed it in for our team. I have to say, I can't disagree with them. You hear references to 2004. Back's against the wall, time to "cowboy up" (so glad that expression is gone), but I just don't see them doing it again. Of course who saw it coming the first time, right?

When are you going to call it a season.

0-1?

0-3?

0-5?

I'll probably close the book on this season when Francona gives Beckett the hook.

Good news is, Celts are just around the corner and they look pretty exciting.

well he has already said he's starting keilty for drew. so there's a plus.

but i don't get why he's staying with crisp.
a)he's gone after this season so why worry about is "feelings"
b)he hasn't done squat all season, he had a few good weeks but that was pretty much it
c)he just plain stinks.

or put a good hit on anyway....

i've never seen a more automatic two outs than lugo and crisp... it may as well be a double play every 8th batter

I don't understand this non-HR call on Manny...

How the heck can a ball exit at nearly same angle it enters if it hits a vertical surface?

i.e. it can't...I'd like another run please

Teams have come back from 3-1 and 3-0 holes 5 times in the LCS, and two of those were by the Sox.

Against the Angels in 1986, and down 0-3 to the Yankees in 2004.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

That was the worst game I think I ever heard McCarver do.....he couldn't get ANYTHING right last night.

"Beckett Retired 6 in a row.......No wait a minute he's retired 10 in a row........well actually if he gets this guy it will be 10 in a row"

WTF I can look that confused for 1/2 the money he's getting.
