Oh yeah I did! What was that star or planet that was visible in the eastern sky?
Anyone see that comet tail that just seemed to linger under that star or planet?

Annual Orion shower. Should be good for two or three more nights. 3AM to first light for best views.
That's Saturn and Venus in the east before dawn. Saturn rising first.
Great time to be out at night!!
|
I'd rather be fishing!

Sunday from around 3:30 to false dawn was the best I've seen all season.
Incredible tail action.

I think this quote applies...
Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after. ~Henry David Thoreau
There's nothing like being able to see shooting stars on a dark evening, is there? 'Course having a big ol bass on the end of the end ain't too bad, either, eh?

Happened to be down in Jersey fishing the Hook this night. At about 5:30am saw that one that had a short/bright streak that seemed to blow up up at the end. Friend was fishing the Narrow in RI and decribed the same one at the same time - pretty cool.
