I thought i would share this-

last week I put up some stuff on ebay for the 1st time.. I have bought abu's from europe, but never sold anything.

Long story short, Ebay awarded one of my auctions to 2 bidders

As far as i know, I made ebay history. 2 different online help techs were amazed and stated that what happened had never happened before ever out of the millions of transactions..

the details of the auction were that 2 people bid, one person was told he won the highest bid and was allowed to pay paypal, and the lower bidder was told he was outbid, but was also allowed to pay by paypal and the listing at the closing of the auction stated that there was only one bid, not 2... so the higher bidder payed for the item, and then because the listing stated that there was only one bid and it was paid for, instructed me to ship it to the lower bidder
hilarious.

i wonder how this will effect my feedback

ebay sucks they cancelled an auction on me last week because i said CASH instead of cash on delivery

I had the same situation happen this year.
I was 1 of 2 winners , the other person out bid me, and because I paid 1st, i got the item.

aha.. well that makes sense. you paid first so its yours. did the other bidder bid higher than you???

eben, talked with my buddy. never heard of such a thing. it does sound like a puter glich in the system. as the man says he who pays, gets the item. good luck buddy.
