Has anybody been fishin' on Long Island and out to Montauk? Me and two buddies are going to the End 9/28-10/1 if anyone would like to hookup.

I have not been there since July...any report I could give would be pretty stale. I may be going over in a week or so to check out a boat, but not to fish:-( . But it is safe to say the fishing is generally very good at Montauk in sept. This summer there was plenty of bait. You might want to check out SOL for a NY report.
Have fun. (Keep your buggy locked and your equipment in sight at all times) Takin the ferry(s) or driving thru the city?
